zoo

find
all
the
animals
hiding
in
the
back
of
their
exhibits,
too
far
away
for
you
to
see
them,
let
alone
experience
them?
Our
mission
is
to
provide
the
North
Texas
community
with
the
opportunity
to
experience
rare
and
endangered
exotic
wildlife
in a
unique
and
personal
setting.
What
better
way

learn
about
conservation
than
by
seeing
it
up
close
and
hands
on?
Our
126
acre
educational
park
offers
field
trips,
private
tours,
open
to
the
public
Saturdays
and
rental
for
events
large
and
small!

Safari
Tram,
bucket
train
rides

outdoor dining
areas

Wildlife

your

wild

Sharkarosa
Wildlife
Ranch
sits
on
126
breathtaking
acres
near
Lake
Ray
Roberts
in
Denton
County,
Texas.
It
was
designed,
fabricated
and
built
by
Scott
Edwards
of
Pilot
Point.
The
Ranch
was
created
as a
way
to
say
thank
you
to
the
North
Texas
community.
Sharkarosa
is a
work
in
progress.
At
any
one
time
it
houses
roughly
130
animals
with
an
additional
20-30
animals
at
other
facilities
on
breeder
loan.
We
are
not,
by
design,
a
rescue
organization.
We
do
and
can,
however,
assist
with
exotic
animal
rescues,
both
short
term
and
long
term
-
either
by
lending
experience,
needed
supplies,
or
housing.
We
do
not
take
in
domestic
animals(dogs,
cats,
etc),
pet
shop
animals(hamsters,
hedgehogs,
etc.),
reptiles,
amphibians
or
birds
of
any
kind.
Please
contact
your
local
humane
society
or
specialty
rescue
group
for
assistance
with
these
types
of
animals.
Ongoing
projects
include
new
habitats,
habitat
expansions,
building
expansions
and
endangered
and
rare
species
breeding
programs.
We
are
a
501(c)(3)
non
profit
facility,
so
all
donations
are
tax
deductible
and
go
directly
back
into
our
programs
and
projects.
