TIME FRAME: 2 1/2 hours with
an additional 15 minutes to
set up and 15 minutes to
cleanup.

any child that walks & the
host family).
Additional guests $5 per
person up to a maximum of 70
people. For a larger group,
contact ranch manager for
pricing.

educational animals & Safari Wagon Ride( the
safari wagon rides thru our exotic pastures
to get up close and personal
with the our larger animals like
camels, zebra, draft horses, etc).

HOW IT WORKS:
When you arrive for your
party, you will meet with
ranch staff to determine the
order of your party. Here is
a list of the different
presentations you can choose
from. You may choose to do
all or none, but each
presentation will only be
done once.

presentation-go up on the
lemur deck to meet our
Ringtail troop & learn more
about these Endangered
creatures!

Kangaroo presentation-in our
Marsupial viewing area you
will meet our mob & learn
about the different types of
marsupials we have!

Nocturnal Creatures
presentation-Meet some
creatures of the night like
our African Crested
Porcupines & Blue Bobcats &
maybe they'll even do a
trick for a treat!

Animal Interaction-Meet our
educational animals up
close! The types of animals
vary according to season.
(kangaroo, camel, lemur,
etc.)

Safari Tram Ride-This is for
all kids and adults(adults
ARE required to accompany
children on this ride).
You'll travel through 3
pastures & get an up close
encounter with animals such
as draft horses, camels,
zebras, deer & much more!

Bucket Train Ride-For the
kiddos or any adult small
enough to sit completely
down in the bucket. About a
3 minute fun ride with
music. Does not go to see
any animals. (time
permitting, we may be able
to do a couple of train
rides)

You may enter the ranch at
10:45 to set up (no earlier
as ranch staff will be
performing morning duties).
Cleanup for your party is
slated for 1:30-1:45pm. When
planning your party
(decorations, food, etc),
please keep in mind that
your party must be concluded
AND cleaned up by 1:45 to
allow staff a lunch break &
time to prepare party areas
for the next party. Any
parties not cleaned up by
1:45 will incur a fee of $50
for each additional 15
minutes necessary to finish
cleanup.
* 2:30-5:00 pm:
You may enter the ranch at
2:15 pm to set up (no
earlier as staff will be
eating lunch & readying
party areas for your party).
Cleanup for your party is
slated for 5:00-5:15 pm.
When planning your party
(decorations, food, etc),
please keep in mind that
your party must by concluded
AND cleaned up by 5:15pm.
Any parties not cleaned up
by 5:15 will incur a fee of
$50 for each additional 15
minutes necessary to finish
cleanup.
If your group is bigger than
50 people, email ranch admin
about booking more than one
time slot.
Please keep in mind if you
book your event in the
summer or winter, there are
NO heated/air conditioned
areas available to you
during your event. Make sure
your guests dress
appropriately for the
weather.
**For the safety of our
animals, we do not allow
balloons or streamers on
ranch premises. Please
contact the Ranch Manager if
you have any questions about
what decorations are
allowed.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
1. Do children under 2 count
towards my 50 people?
Yes, children under 2 are
only free on Open to the
Public Saturdays. If they
are walking, they are
counted in your 50.
2. What if more than 50
people show up for my party?
Sharkarosa staff will count
incoming guests. You will be
charged $5 per person over
your 50 guests up to a
maximum of 70 people.
3. What if some one arrives
late, can they go back and
see the animals they missed?
Unfortunately no, parties
arriving late forfeit any
portion they might have
missed.
4. Do I bring my own food
for my birthday party?
Yes, Sharkarosa does
not provide any
food/drink items, eating utensils,
etc. for birthday
parties, although sodas are
available in the pavilion for 75
cents.
5. Can I have my party
catered?
You are welcome to bring a
caterer in (food must be
prepared off site) or use
one that we recommend.
Caterer or party host MUST
contact Sharkarosa at least
one week prior to your
scheduled party to set up a
time for your caterer to
bring in your food.
6. Can I bring food to feed
the animals?
No. Sharkarosa staff will
provide all animal food.
7. What if I want to
decorate, can I come earlier
than my allotted 15 minutes?
Unfortunately no, due to our
busy events schedule, you
will not be allowed to enter
ranch premises until 15
minutes prior to your
birthday party. **Please
note: for the safety of the
animals, balloons &
streamers are
prohibited.**
8. Do you have restrooms?
Yes, we do provide very
clean Porta-Potties, a full
hand-washing station and
water fountain.
9. What happens if one of my
guests or their children has
an issue with the guidelines
set forth by the ranch staff
at the beginning of my
party?
We want your party to be an
incredible adventure! Guests
that are unable to cooperate
with the guidelines set
forth by ranch staff at the
beginning of your party will
be asked to leave and if
necessary, will be escorted
from the premises. In this
instance no refund, or
portion of a refund will be
given.
