PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING
PRIVATE TOUR INFORMATION
CAREFULLY BEFORE EMAILING
ADMIN WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR
RESERVATION REQUESTS:
COST: $12 per person
(adults and any walking
children) with a $120
minimum.
DEPOSIT: $120 deposit
required to make a
reservation (does go towards
your total ticket price).
TIME: Depending on
the size of your group, tour
will be between 1 hours & 1
1/2 hours.
LIMIT: 30 people max
(this includes adults and
any child that walks).

Wagon: 30 minute ride
through exotic pastures
to see camels, zebra,
deer, horses & more!

Small
Barn Viewing: Walk
around the small animal
barn & see a variety of
animals in their
habitats.

Marsupial
Habitat & Joey Junction:
Watch Kangaroos &
wallabies hanging out
and hopping around!

Meet &
Greet with our Education
Animals: Kangaroo,
camel, lemur & more.
(Animals available for
meet & greet vary with
the season. Due to
extreme temperatures,
some animals may be
unavailable.)
While children of all ages
are welcome at Sharkarosa,
please be aware that tour
activities are geared
towards school aged children
K thru adult.
Breast feeding and diaper
changing facilities are not
currently available.
Additionally, while
strollers are welcome,
portions of the tour will
require you leave them
behind.

book up at least two weeks

We make every effort to

FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS:
1. Why don't you run private
tours on Sundays?
We used to however, due to the growing
popularity of our field trip
option, we have
decided to devote Sundays
entirely to field trips and
birthday parties.
2. Is there a minimum age
requirement for private
tours?
No, but if they are walking,
they are counted in your 30
person maximum.
3. What if more than 30
people want to participate
in my private tour?
You'll need to book two
separate private tours.
4. What if we're running
late and I can't get a hold
of anyone at the ranch?
Ranch staff is usually out
in the barns working to get
ready for your tour. You can
leave a message, but keep in
mind that the ranch gates
will close 15 minutes after
your scheduled start time.
If late, your deposit will
be forfeited and your tour
canceled. We understand
obstacles can arise in your
day, however, other
scheduled ranch events for
that day will not be
compromised.
5. Can I bring a lunch and
eat during my private tour?
No.
The rental of the
pavilion area is
restricted to field trips,
parties and Open to the
Public Days. If you would
like to book an event in
which you can bring a lunch,
please browse through the
rest of the Visiting
Section. No exceptions will
be made.
6. I see that you have a
kids bucket train. Is that
available during private
tours?
No, use of the train is
restricted to field trips,
parties and Open to the
Public Days.
7. Do you have restrooms?
Yes, we do provide very
clean Porta-Potties, a full
hand-washing station and
water fountain.
8. What happens if someone
in my party or one of their
children has an issue with
the guidelines set forth by
the ranch staff at the
beginning of my tour?
We want your tour to be an
incredible adventure! Guests
that are unable to cooperate
with the guidelines set
forth by ranch staff at the
beginning of your tour will
be asked to leave and if
necessary, will be escorted
from the premises. No refund
will be given in this
situation.

one
will
be
admitted
to
the
ranch
after
4pm.

other
days,

private
reservation
ONLY! Reservations must
